On SD 50007.31, the Manticore and the USS Farragut departed Utopia Planitia as it was under attack by large asteroids. The two Federation ships found two gigantic planetoid-vessels driving a swarm of asteroids in front of them. Both the Farragut and Manticore were damaged in their attack, but they were successful in destroying the mass driving vessels and were able to sto por divert the remaining asteroids.
